An unknown volunteer hours before the event...

People arrived at 10:00 am. By my count there were well over 50 volunteers. I attended several committee meetings, starting in July, and my hat goes off to Mary Knapp and her committtee for all the hard work they put in..

This was a day filled with symbolism for me. We spent two months trying to help support The Light The Night Walk for the committee in The New River Valley. When the day came, it showered on and off all day, with a really heavy downpour about 2 hours before the event. Then the rainbow showed up. It was symbolic in the fact that the treatment of blood related cancers must be hell, but if you survive, you'll get your rainbow.....
