This years walk, when it arrived, got to me a little bit. It had been 6 months since my friend had passed away, and I thought I had worked through most of it. But the walk and the reason for it brought it all back. Still, it was good to be there to see all the survivors, and realize that there is a reason to keep fighting. I have only attended two of these, yet I must say that my impressions of the atmosphere and the whole event this year were much better than last year. The event was held in Vinton, VA. this year, and it is attempted to change location in Southwest Virginia every year. I'm sorry I don't have any pictures as the sight of the large hot air ballon and the NASCAR showcar really were a spectical. It really is an event and well worth attending.
