We started our little venture this past March. We had liked the idea of doing a bone marrow drive in our friend's honor when we contacted The Bone Marrow Donor Center in Charlotte this past February. When we finally got hold of the local representative, we found out it was $80.50 to type one non minority. So we became fundraisers. We are very much the novices at raising money. This was our big event this year, and will continue to be one of our big events. We don't have all the answers,if we have any of them. and do not claim to have done everything, if anything, right.
